We all choose the books to read, putting forward our personal choices. In previous years, we have had a great variety of fiction and a few non-fiction books.
With each member enjoying different genres and writing styles, we have all been introduced to new authors as well as revisiting some who inspired us to read more of their work.
So far this year we have read The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida by Shehan Karunatilaka, Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano, After You’d Gone by Maggie O’Farrell and Love and War in the Apennines by Eric Newby.
We use a WhatsApp group to contact each other.
