We currently have five Wine Appreciation groups of about 20 members each.

Though wine groups started with a similar format over time they have inevitably developed in different ways and each has its own personality.

Generally, at each meeting one or two members chose six wines to explore a particular theme and present their particular wines together with bread, biscuits and cheese – or sometimes more adventurous nibbles.

We try to taste different wines and discover new ones. Wine is best enjoyed in good company and we aim to make these relaxed and convivial evenings.

The Group Leaders are Nicki Baker, Tom Bennett & Bob Venus.
