Spanish Language Groups
Do you enjoy visiting Spain? Would you like to improve your conversational Spanish?
Come and learn and practise with our friendly Spanish groups, led by our tutor, Susanna. She describes herself as ‘very Spanish’ and brings her passion for the language to every session, making learning fun and enjoyable. Susanna has plenty of experience teaching adults and makes sure everyone feels included, supported and able to make progress.
We now offer three tutor-led courses and one conversation group, so there’s something for a range of abilities.
Not sure which level is right for you? We offer free taster sessions with all our groups, giving you and Susanna the chance to make sure the level is a good fit before you commit.
Spanish Intermediate
Wednesdays, 1–2pm | The Bridewell, Odiham
Originally a Beginners group in January 2025, members are now confident Spanish speakers who value the opportunity to develop their skills further with a tutor.
This is a popular group and we sometimes have a waiting list. If you’re interested, please add your name and we’ll contact you as soon as a space becomes available.

Spanish Beginners Plus
Wednesdays, 2.15–3.15pm | The Bridewell, Odiham
Formed in January 2026, this group is already beyond the complete beginner stage. However, if you have some basic vocabulary – perhaps from using Duolingo – and can manage a sentence or two, this could be the group for you.

Spanish Beginners
Mondays, 1–2pm | Greywell Village Hall
This course started in autumn 2026 and is for absolute beginners. If you’ve been meaning to improve your ‘holiday Spanish’ so you can have proper conversations – and understand what people are saying in reply – now is the perfect time to join. The group is still in its early stages.
But don’t leave it too long! Once Susanna gets to work, a Beginners group doesn’t remain suitable for beginners forever!

Spanish Conversation
Twice a month, on a Monday or Tuesday | The Bell and Dragon, Odiham
Also newly formed this term, this group is for confident Spanish users who have the skills to support one another while chatting in Spanish over a drink.
Members organise their meetings through WhatsApp, with each person choosing a topic for the group to discuss in advance. It’s a relaxed way to keep your Spanish flowing, share ideas and enjoy a good conversation.
