This is a group for members who live on their own or whose partners are unable to accompany them to social events.
Since the group first started some seven years ago, we have enjoyed meals in local restaurants, drop in coffee mornings, theatre trips, garden visits, walks followed by a pub lunch, a garden party, games afternoons, holidays abroad.
For the 2024 – 2025 year we hope to have a similar programme to the 2023 – 2024 year, during which we held regular drop in coffee mornings on the second Saturday of the month at the Bel and Dragon in Odiham.
Other outings were organised, including frequent lunches at local eateries; an afternoon tea at Riseley Village Hall; coach trips to London to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Christmas Cracker and Valentines Day concerts at the Cadogan Hall.
A group of MOTO members enjoyed an autumn 2023 holiday in Isla Christina in Spain and another group of members enjoyed a holiday in Lanzarote in April 2024.
You can join at any time during the year. There is no waiting list or minimum or maximum attendance requirement.
