Dancing is excellent for both physical and mental well being. We aim to have lots of fun whilst keeping fit and active.
The music used is a good mix of country, rock and roll and popular music.

We are a small group who meet at least twice a month to line dance together.
Nicki, who leads the group is not an expert or experienced line dancer. Tracey, who co-leads the group is an experienced line dancer and is introducing us to dances that will gradually move us from beginner to improver level.

We use the CopperKnob step sheets to teach dances that offer opportunities to both practise the steps and learn new steps to make us feel as if we are improving.

All the basic line dancing steps are taught and incorporated into the dances. We then put the dances together bit by bit, step by step so that we can learn the routine.

We practise dances we have learnt so that it becomes easier to remember. We also learn new dances regularly. We like a challenge!
We have a good giggle when we go wrong and it never matters because it’s all part of the learning process.

Do come and join us. We have room for a couple more.

You are most welcome to come and join us for a taster session to see if you like it before making any commitment.
This group is not for beginners. Please see the Line Dancing for Beginners group page for details if you are interested.
