We currently have five wine-appreciation groups of about 20 members each.
Though wine groups started with a similar format over time they have inevitably developed in different ways and each has its own personality.
Our meetings are very relaxed and informal.
We take turns in presenting a topic of our choice within a set budget. Topics can be a grape, a country, etc - one meeting was based around the football world cup!
The Group leaders are Jackie Giles and Marti Stanwell.
